Harsh lighting creates harsh shadows and overwhelms the natural color variations in your subject. Outdoors, you can use a cloudy day to soften that harsh light. If controlling the clouds is a little beyond your capabilities, dont despair -- all you need is a little white linen and a frame to hold it.
Instructions
- 1
Bend the wire hanger into a circle. Dont unwind the hook, because thats going to end up being your handle.
2Cut the linen to a little larger than you circular wire frame.
3Fold the linen over the edge of the frame. Sew the fabric together. If youre just using your diffuser for a limited time, you can get by with just a basting stitch, but be more thorough if you want your diffuser to last for a while.
