For a fashion photographer courting major advertising agencies or high-end publications, many editors require submitting photographers to mail or deliver a traditional portfolio.

Update your portfolio continually. What was your best work last year or even last month may not be your best now. Regularly look through your entire portfolio and replace images when you create stronger ones or when images become outdated.
