How to Convert an FD Lens to EOS EF

Instructions

Attach the Canon FD adapter to the Canon EOS body. Focusing the lens will require some practice as EOS viewfinders do not have a traditional focusing screen.

Align and mount the FD lens to the adapter the same way you would normally mount the lens. Be sure you rotate the lens until it is locked in place and is secure on the camera.

Set the camera aperture setting to 1.0. According to the website PhotoNotes, you will need to use the stop down metering method in setting the correct exposure for your images.

Take a few test pictures using the FD lens.
