How to Fold a Lastolite TriGrip Diffuser

The Lastolite company sells a wide range of photography accessories with a focus on light control and direction. One product is the company's line of TriGrip reflectors and diffusers. The TriGrip products have a triangular shape and can be used with one hand, allowing a photographer to use a TriGrip and take photos at the same time. The TriGrip products come in several different sizes, and all sizes fold down to about a third of the products open size for easy transport.

Instructions

Hold the TriGrip by the two corners away from the handle.

Fold the two corners toward each other as if you are trying to fold the diffuser in half. As you fold, the TriGrip frame will automatically twist into a figure-eight pattern.

Fold the two halves of the figure eight together, compacting the diffuser into a small circular shape. The diffuser is now folding into its storage and transport size, and will fit in the storage bag.
